Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 2, 2026
1. Introduction & Scope
Welcome to Fooks-Michnya Associates, LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, digital resources, workshops, and our online educational programs, including the How to Survive Your Adult Child’s Addiction (and motivate their recovery) beta course (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
By accessing or purchasing our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform or enroll in our courses.
2. Educational & Informational Nature (No Client-Therapist Relationship)
While these materials are developed by a licensed professional, your participation in the H2SYACA course, webinars, or use of our digital downloads does not constitute clinical therapy or establish a formal therapist-client relationship.
This program is not a substitute for professional mental health counseling, medical advice, or crisis intervention. If you or your family require clinical treatment, you are strongly encouraged to seek local, individualized professional care.
3. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use
All content included in our Services—such as course modules, workbooks, visual models, audio recordings, and text—is the property of Fooks-Michnya Associates, LLC and is protected by copyright laws.
- Permitted Use: You are granted a single-user, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for personal, non-commercial development.
- Prohibited Use: You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly display any course materials or frameworks without explicit written permission.
4. Registrations, Fees, and Access
Enrollment fees for courses, webinars, or digital materials are explicitly outlined at the point of purchase. Any promotional discount codes (such as introductory or beta cohort offers) must be applied at checkout prior to finalizing payment.
Access keys, account credentials, and course links are strictly confidential and mapped to a single user account. Unauthorized distribution of access credentials will result in immediate termination of Service access without a refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
Fooks-Michnya Associates, LLC provides these educational tools on an “as-is” basis. We offer evidence-based methodologies designed to support families, but we do not guarantee specific behavioral or recovery outcomes for your adult child.
In no event shall Fooks-Michnya Associates, LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in this educational program.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
